Four lines.
Each one plays a different role.
The indicator adds four lines to your chart alongside the colored field. Here's what each one tells you — in plain English.
The Volume Weighted Average Price. The most important line on the chart for intraday traders. It represents the average price all participants paid today.
The 9-period Exponential Moving Average. The fastest-reacting line — it tracks price closely and shows you the immediate short-term trend. The colored field is drawn between this line and VWAP.
The 20-period EMA confirms medium-term momentum. When EMA 20 is also above VWAP alongside EMA 9, the field gets stronger — a sign that the move has more behind it than just a quick spike.
The 50-period EMA acts as a structural reference point. It's the slower-moving baseline that shows you where the broader intraday trend is heading. Useful for identifying key support and resistance zones.
